Nothing and everything happened here, then moved on is a series of scanned images of incidental exposures created by sunlight on sugar paper. The paper was used to black out the gallery space during the Glasgow School of Art degree show, producing images upon this unconventionally light sensitive material. These photograms stand as traces of another event, creating a camera-less snapshot of a moment in time; a visual representation of the duration necessary for their formation. Presented as a series of postcards, the images’ secondary incarnation explores ideas of presence and absence, and are an attempt to distil and display marks made by an ephemeral moment.
